Quick Facts: What Are Crypto Casinos
Digital currencies have introduced a new chapter for online gambling. Many players now ask what crypto casinos are and how do crypto casinos work compared to normal sites. In short, they are online casinos that use blockchain payments instead of traditional money. Players deposit coins like BTC, ETH, or USDT from digital wallets instead of using cards or bank transfers. Below are the main facts about this sector:
| Category | Details |
|---|---|
| Game Type | Online crypto casino |
| Supported Coins | BTC, ETH, USDT, LTC |
| Payment Speed | Depends on the network and the casino's processing time |
| License | Curaçao / Offshore |
| Features | Provably fair games on some sites, bonuses |
| Legal status in Bangladesh | Online gambling is a criminal offence under the Gambling Prevention Act 2026 |
Payments run over public blockchains, but the casino itself is still a company that holds your balance and decides whether to approve a withdrawal.
How Do Crypto Casinos Work
Understanding how do crypto casinos work helps new users see why they attract so much attention. Instead of a bank or card, players use wallets that send coins like Bitcoin or Ethereum to an address given by the casino. Each transfer is recorded on the blockchain's public ledger, but the casino balance itself is kept in the operator's own system, as at any other online casino.
Many cryptocurrency casino online platforms offer provably fair games. The algorithm publishes a hash of the result before the round begins. After it ends, the user can check that the result matches. Withdrawals are sent back to the player’s wallet after the casino approves them, and processing times depend on the operator and the network. Some sites convert between coins and in-game credits, which can involve exchange fees.
Network fees vary with traffic, and a transfer sent to a wrong address cannot be reversed. A provably fair check shows that a single game round was not altered; it says nothing about whether the operator will pay out.

No: online casinos are illegal in Bangladesh
Bangladesh's Parliament passed the Gambling Prevention Act 2026 on 30 June 2026. It took effect on 1 July 2026 and replaced the colonial-era Public Gambling Act 1867. Unlike the old law, it covers online gambling directly, the promotion of gambling, and the use of VPNs and mirror sites to run or hide it. Using a VPN does not make playing legal.
| Offence | Maximum penalty |
|---|---|
| Gambling (offline) | 2 years and/or Tk 2 lakh |
| Online gambling (playing) | 5 years and/or Tk 1 crore |
| Online betting (sources differ on whether this covers placing bets or only operating) | 7 years and/or Tk 5 crore |
| Running a platform, bookmaking, or using VPNs, proxies or mirror sites to run or hide gambling | 7 years and/or Tk 5 crore |
| Advertising, sponsorship, affiliate or referral promotion | 3 years and/or Tk 50 lakh |
| Organised gambling or laundering via SIMs, MFS or crypto | 10 years and/or Tk 5 crore |
- Enforcement is active. Between 1 January and 15 September 2026 the CID reported 115 arrests; in 2026 it has charge-sheeted 88 people and asked BTRC to block 763 gambling sites and apps.
- Payments are monitored. Bangladesh Bank has ordered MFS providers to stop gambling transactions, and the BFIU has frozen tens of thousands of bKash, Nagad and other accounts linked to gambling. The authorities have said they are working on stopping holders of frozen accounts from opening new ones with the same NID.
- Offshore licences do not help. A Curaçao, Anjouan or other foreign licence only lets an operator serve countries where gambling is allowed. It gives no legal protection to players in Bangladesh.
- Crypto is not a workaround. Bangladesh Bank has said dealing in cryptocurrency is illegal (2021), and the 2026 Act makes laundering gambling money through crypto a separate offence.

New crypto casinos: what to check
New crypto casinos appear regularly, often with features such as NFT-linked rewards, wallet log-in and crypto-only bonus schemes.
A new site has no track record. Check its licence number in the regulator's register and read the terms, especially withdrawal limits and identity checks, before depositing. Be wary of sites that promise "no verification" or very large bonuses.
Brands that we removed from our rankings, and the reasons, are listed on casinos to avoid.

Crypto Casino Games and Software Providers
Modern crypto casinos give users access to thousands of slots, live dealer tables and mini-games. Only some titles are "provably fair", meaning each round can be checked against a hash published before the bet; this is a feature of the game's software, not of the blockchain (BGaming). Many sites also host crash-style rounds that rely on provably fair mechanics.
Large studios supply most of the games. Spribe built Aviator, which is often seen at crypto casinos. Pragmatic Play, Evolution and BGaming supply live and automated content to many of these sites.
Common categories include:
- Slots with multipliers;
- Table games with live dealers;
- Provably fair titles with public hashes;
- Exclusive crash or dice modes.
Several networks now promote crypto casino live rooms where players join real-time tables through video. That environment combines speed with community interaction. As competition grows, new tools appear, including NFT integration for collectibles linked to casino events.

Bonuses and Promo Codes at Crypto Casinos
Players often look for crypto casino bonus codes before joining a site. These codes give extra coins, free spins, or cashback once you enter them at registration. Each crypto casino promo code works differently, so users should read its limits before applying it.
Welcome packages stay the most popular. A standard crypto casino bonus doubles or triples the first deposit up to a set amount in BTC or USDT. Some casinos also have reload bonuses, referral rewards, and no-deposit offers where users receive small tokens for signing up.
Loyalty programs reward frequent activity and can unlock VIP privileges, faster withdrawals, or private contests. Cashback on weekly losses also remains common among long-term players.
When choosing a casino, check that the promotion rules are presented in clear text and include wagering requirements. Bonuses add value only when they remain transparent and fair under licence conditions.

Payments and Supported Cryptocurrencies
The foundation of all crypto currency casinos lies in secure digital payments. You deposit by sending coins from your own wallet to an address the casino shows (often as a QR code); withdrawals go to a wallet address you enter. Never share a wallet's private key. The same method works across online crypto casinos worldwide and allows players to send and receive coins without sharing card details.
Typical coins accepted are Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and USDT. Many crypto casino sites also support altcoin payments such as Tron or Dogecoin.
Deposits are credited after the network confirms the transfer. Withdrawal times depend on the casino's approval process and on network traffic, and fees and limits vary by coin and platform. Some brands require minimum deposits equal to a few dollars in digital currency.
Blockchain transactions are recorded publicly, and many casinos still ask for identity documents before paying out a withdrawal.
Paying in crypto does not change the legal position: online gambling is a criminal offence in Bangladesh under the Gambling Prevention Act 2026 whatever payment method is used. Crypto is not a workaround: Bangladesh Bank has said that dealing in cryptocurrency is illegal (The Business Standard), and the Act separately punishes laundering gambling money through crypto.

Security, Fairness, and Licensing
Check which regulator licenses a crypto casino, for example Curaçao or Malta, and whether the licence number appears in the regulator's register. The Curaçao Gaming Authority's online licensing portal has been offline since early October 2026 and will not return, so Curaçao seals may not verify until its replacement is in place. An offshore licence gives players in Bangladesh no local protection.
Some operators publish game-testing certificates from independent labs. Community reviews can help, but they are easy to fake.
SSL encryption protects the data sent between your device and the site, and provably fair games let you check individual rounds. Reading crypto casino reviews before joining gives an idea of an operator's payment record and reputation.

Crypto Casino Apps and Mobile Gaming
Mobile access keeps expanding among online crypto casinos. Many sites now build special versions for Android and iOS through a crypto casino app or browser-based system. The goal is to let users log in, deposit, and play without waiting for desktop access.
Apps offer the same functions as the website and include wallet links for deposits or cash-outs. They also support push notifications for new bonuses and tournaments. Players can install APKs from official casino pages or use browser shortcuts for fast login. Only download an APK from the operator's own site, never from links shared in social media or messaging apps.

Free and Demo Crypto Casinos
Some platforms run free crypto casinos where new users can try demo versions before spending real coins. These modes use fake balances to show how games work. They help beginners learn betting limits, payout ratios, and general rules without risking money.
A demo crypto casino gives access to popular slots, dice, and card games under the same design as real-money mode. Players can test strategies and understand game flow before activating deposits.
Sites include a clear separation between demo and paid accounts to prevent confusion. Starting with free play reduces risk and gives confidence before moving into real betting. It also helps users explore new crypto casino games without pressure or financial loss.

Advantages and Risks of Crypto Casino
Crypto casinos attract players with quick deposits and provably fair games.
The risks are larger. Price volatility can change the real value of a balance within hours, a transfer cannot be reversed, and some unlicensed sites misuse data or refuse to pay. Many crypto casinos hold only an offshore licence, or none at all.
No licence or audit guarantees that a casino will pay, and players in Bangladesh have no local regulator to complain to.

FAQ
What are crypto casinos?
They are digital gambling sites that let users deposit and withdraw with cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum. Deposits and withdrawals are blockchain transfers, but game results and balances are kept in the casino's own system.
Are crypto casinos legal in Bangladesh?
No. Since 1 July 2026 online gambling is a criminal offence in Bangladesh under the Gambling Prevention Act 2026, punishable by up to 5 years in prison and/or a fine of up to Tk 1 crore. A casino's foreign licence does not change this. Read our guide to the law.

Which coins are accepted?
Common coins include BTC, ETH, USDT, and LTC. Many sites also accept altcoin payments, such as Tron or Dogecoin.
